This fun day outside on the beautiful golf course

To encourage new or non-golfers we are providing pre-game golf tips from a professional! New and beginner golfers are encouraged to try the Pro-Golf clinics (11am) to get some tips and tricks before the round. The tournament is a Texas Scramble with loads of luck based challenges to even the playing field and inject some shenanigans. This round will be perfect for new and non-golfers as much as it is for the experienced players.

(New players can rent a set of clubs from the pro-shop, just call the club at 604-576-4653 to book your right or left handed set).

Players are encouraged to “look like a team”. Pick a team, theme, decade, season, sport, colour, music. The theme opportunities are endless, and its all in the name of fun! Your team theme should allow you to play in that still fits within the courses dress code policy. Think crazy pants, or team yellow, or team 80’s. How about heavy metal rock band, or Jimmy Buffet, Disco or Gatsby? This is all about FUN!

The DB Perks Mega Putt contest (1230pm) is a fun all player pre-game activity that you don’t want to miss. Then grab your brown bag lunch and head over to your starting tee box. The tournament play is a shot-gun start with Texas scramble format with a number of mini-games, challenges, and with a little bit of luck you may go home with a prize.

Your round is followed by a delicious banquet dinner and auctions, raising funds to support the activities of not-for-profit volunteer and educational organizations in British Columbia which implement recreation, parks and culture programs and services.
