About the cause:
In 2023, the first mental health centre purpose-built for young people opened in Calgary. The Summit: Marian & Jim Sinneave Centre for Youth Resilience is expected to help 8,000 young people and their families every year. Since 2018 funds raised from our tournament have been directed to this very important facility. To learn more about The Summit visit the Children’s Hospital website: https://www.childrenshospital.ab.ca/your-impact/latest-news/new-mental-health-centre-for-youth-opens-monday/
About the tournament:
Players play their own ball and compete for individual and team net and gross prizes.
Hole-In-One, door prizes and over $2400 in cash prizes are up for grabs. There will be a raffle and other fundraising events. Power Carts, complimentary driving range warm-up, club loading and staging, as well as a plated steak dinner are all included in the purchase price.
Important reminders:
Kananaskis Country and the Bow Valley Corridor now require a daily or annual Conservation Pass, similar to Banff National Park. Daily passes are $15 per vehicle, annual passes (for up to 2 vehicles) are $90. Passes can be purchased at http:/www.alberta.ca/yourpass
If you’d like to participate in any of the raffles and fundraising events, such as the putting contest, please remember to bring cash with you.
About the course:
Kananaskis Country Golf Course is a 36-hole experience, consisting of two course layouts: Mt Kidd and Mt Lorette. Opened since 1983, Kananaskis Country golf Course is a welcoming experience, with a long-established reputation as the “home course” for many golf-passionate Albertans. The course was recently refurbished and rebuilt, after extensive damage from the 2013 Floods, by Calgary Golf Architect Gary Browning.
Thank you,
