About the Foundation
The Jessica Martel Memorial Foundation is a not for profit organization primarily serving Sturgeon County and surrounding area’s. The foundation was formed in 2012 as a result of the tragic death of Jessica Martel.
Mission
The Jessica Martel Memorial Foundation’s mission is to empower women, men, and children to live a life free of violence. We provide safe haven for people fleeing violence through Jessica’s House – a 35 bed all-inclusive emergency shelter, outreach, education, advocacy, community engagement and education.
Proceeds from this event will greatly support families fleeing domestic violence.
